About Us
Oxford Latin is based among the dreaming spires of Oxford, with access to the resources of the Bodleian Library. Its director is Carolinne White who has a degree in Classics and a doctorate from Oxford University and has many years experience as a translator. She has worked on the supplement to the Liddell and Scott Greek Lexicon and more recently on the Medieval Latin Dictionary from British sources (www.classics.ox.ac.uk/research).
Carolinne White specializes in the Latin of the Church Fathers and the medieval period and has published several books relating to these areas, including the following:
